Requesting a correction

Send correction requests to cynthylatest@gmail.com. Please include the article link or headline, the specific point you believe is wrong, the proposed correction, and any supporting evidence or source.

How requests are reviewed

Cynthia Okere reviews credible requests against available source material. A request does not automatically result in a change. CeewhyNews may seek further information where the available evidence is incomplete or contested.

Corrections, clarifications and updates

• A correction addresses information that was inaccurate when published.
• A clarification explains wording that was technically accurate but could mislead readers.
• An update adds significant verified information to a developing or existing report.

Minor spelling, grammar or formatting changes that do not alter meaning may be made without a public note. For a material factual correction, clarification, headline correction, attribution correction or image correction, CeewhyNews will add a dated note where that helps readers understand what changed and why.

Article history and removal

CeewhyNews aims to preserve article URLs when correcting a report. Content may be reviewed for removal or restricted visibility only where serious accuracy, legal, ethical, privacy or safety concerns require a separate editorial decision.

Editorial responsibility

AI tools may assist drafting or editing, but they are not evidence. Factual claims, quotations and source attributions require independent human review and verification before publication or correction.
