Davido’s $3.7M Purchase Clarified, Not a Wedding Expense

Nigerian music star David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has recently attracted so much attention after a viral video showed him discussing a $3.7 million cash transaction.

While some reports incorrectly linked this figure to a Miami white wedding, the statement was actually in reference to the purchase of a new home.

In the video, Davido is heard saying, “I spent $3.7 million cash, so we should know what we are doing here.”

This comment was made while he was preparing for a pre-wedding celebration, but it was a separate statement from his marriage proceedings.

The singer had previously announced the purchase of a new house, and this video appears to be related to that significant real estate transaction.

Davido and his wife, Chioma Rowland, held their traditional wedding in Lagos, Nigeria, in June 2024.

The event was a major affair, drawing prominent figures from various sectors.
