Air Peace Partners Dutch Aviation Trainers to Boost Pilot Training Standards

Air Peace has strengthened its drive for operational excellence and aviation safety through a strategic partnership engagement with Dutch Aviation Trainers aimed at enhancing crew training efficiency and technical capacity.
The meeting, held in Lagos, brought together executives of both organisations to deepen collaboration on pilot training programmes, particularly for the airline’s Boeing 737 NG fleet.
Dutch Aviation Trainers currently handles training for Air Peace pilots on Embraer E1 and E2 aircraft, reinforcing an existing relationship focused on improving operational standards and technical expertise within the carrier’s expanding fleet.
Speaking during the engagement, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema said the airline remains committed to continuous investment in safety, manpower development and recurrent training.
“We remain focused on building a highly skilled workforce through continuous training and strategic global partnerships that support operational excellence and safety across our network,” he said.
The airline noted that the collaboration forms part of broader efforts to sustain world-class operational standards across its domestic, regional and international operations.
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dutch Aviation Trainers, Captain Paul Ten Hof, described the engagement as an opportunity to further strengthen professional aviation training and capacity development.
“Our goal is to continue supporting airlines with globally recognised training solutions that improve pilot proficiency and operational standards,” he said.
The Dutch-based aviation training organisation is recognised for its specialised Boeing and Embraer aircraft programmes, including type-rating and advanced operational courses aligned with international aviation standards.
The organisation has also trained pilots for airlines such as KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and AMAS Airlines.
The engagement further reflects Air Peace’s strategy of aligning its operations with global aviation best practices while strengthening technical expertise and flight safety standards across its growing fleet.
