The government said it intends to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Chad in key areas including trade, security, education and regional development.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stronger collaboration would serve the interests of citizens in both countries and contribute to broader regional stability.

Nigeria also expressed its readiness to deepen cooperation with Chad through multilateral platforms, including the African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN).

The ministry said increased collaboration between both countries would support their shared objectives of achieving “peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.”
